How gay-friendly is Reykjavik?
Reykjavik is compact, famously queer-friendly, and extremely good at making a two-hour walk feel like a small cultural expedition. The waterfront, Harpa, Hallgrímskirkja, cafés, pools, and rainbow street art are all much easier to enjoy than an overstuffed itinerary that spends the whole day in a minibus.
Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, South Coast, and Northern Lights products can be excellent, but read the duration with your ship’s departure time in mind. Weather changes quickly, roads are long, and Icelandic landscapes have no interest in your carefully color-coded spreadsheet. Layers, waterproof shoes, and a confirmed pickup location are not optional accessories here.
