How gay-friendly is Seattle?
Seattle is a practical Alaska-cruise homeport with two terminals and a compact stack of pre- and post-cruise choices: Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, the waterfront, neighborhood food, and skyline views. Pier 66 lands you downtown; Pier 91 is a short ride north, which matters when a product description says only “Seattle pickup.”
The city's LGBTQ+ center of gravity is Capitol Hill, where year-round queer bars, performance, shops, and community spaces make Seattle more than a Pride-month cameo. For a sailing day, Pike Place tastings, the Underground, city highlights, and a harbor cruise fit neatly. Snoqualmie Falls can work with a confirmed four-hour schedule; Mount Rainier and Olympic National Park belong to a full spare day. Mountains are famously indifferent to your boarding group.
