How gay-friendly is Vancouver?
Vancouver has the strongest year-round LGBTQ+ infrastructure in this set. The city describes its large 2SLGBTQIA+ community as centered on Davie Street and Commercial Drive; Davie Village puts bars, cafés, shops, community organizations, and rainbow landmarks within a short ride or energetic walk of Canada Place.
Wreck Beach is Canada's first official clothing-optional beach and has a well-known gay-popular area, though it requires a longer trip and a serious staircase. F212 on Davie Street is a dedicated gay sauna within two miles of the cruise terminal. For a short port call, Davie Village is the efficient choice; for Wreck Beach, protect enough transit time that the only thing you miss is a tan line.
